The Road to the Cross – Oddments Theatre

All Saints Church in Leamington Spa will be hosting a special series of events for Holy Week, taking place from the 5th to the 12th of April. This year, the church is presenting “The Road to the Cross,” a powerful theatrical production by Oddments Theatre. Known for their moving and engaging performances, Oddments Theatre is renowned for bringing biblical stories to life through live drama, making complex themes accessible and impactful for all ages.

“The Road to the Cross” will explore the final days of Jesus Christ, following His journey from Palm Sunday through to Good Friday and Easter. With poignant storytelling, dramatic visuals, and talented actors, the performance is designed to captivate and move audiences, offering a unique way to reflect on the significance of Holy Week. The production aims to evoke a deep sense of empathy and connection with the events that mark the Christian faith’s most solemn week.

Each day, special services, readings, and reflections will also be held to accompany the journey, inviting participants to engage in a meditative exploration of faith. This combination of theater and worship offers a thoughtful, immersive approach to understanding and experiencing the solemnity and hope embodied in Holy Week.

The events will culminate in an Easter Sunday celebration, honoring the resurrection with joy, music, and fellowship. All Saints Church warmly invites everyone in the community, regardless of religious background, to take part in these events. This series is an opportunity for reflection, renewal, and shared faith, promising a meaningful Holy Week experience for all who attend.
