Holy Week Northampton – Holy Week is a week-long celebration in the Christian calendar that leads up to Easter Sunday, when Christians believe Jesus rose from the dead. s a time to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice, death, and resurrection, and to remember the events of his final days in Jerusalem.

The Triduum Sacrum begins
Thursday 2nd April—Maundy Thursday
7.45pm     Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by the Gethsemane Watch

Friday 3th April—Good Friday
10.30am Walk of Witness from Castle Hill Church
12noon     Stations of the Cross
1.45pm     The Good Friday Liturgy

Saturday 4th April—Holy Saturday
9am    Morning Prayer
Followed by Church Cleaning  & Decorating
7.45pm     The Easter Vigil

Sunday 5th April—Easter Day
8am     Holy Communion
10.30am Choral Eucharist for Easter Day
