This special event features the Lay Clerks and Organists of Canterbury Cathedral. To performing a moving selection of sacred music appropriate for Holy Week. Surrounded by the architectural beauty and spiritual significance of the Cathedral. The audience will experience a deeply reflective and atmospheric evening.

The Choir

Will be under the direction of Jamie Rogers, Assistant Director of Music at Canterbury Cathedral. Accompanying on the organ is David Newsholme, the Cathedral’s Director of Music, ensuring a performance of exceptional quality and reverence. The carefully chosen programme will draw listeners into the solemnity and hope that characterise the Passion of Christ. This contemplative evening of music by candlelight is designed to bring depth and reflection to your Holy Week observance. The combination of stunning acoustics, sacred music, and historic surroundings creates an unforgettable and spiritual experience. The concert promises not only musical excellence but also a rare opportunity to hear the Lay Clerks in one of England’s most iconic sacred spaces.
