Our Ash Wednesday service will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Rushden, beginning at 7:00pm in the church. All are warmly invited to attend. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection, repentance, and spiritual renewal in the Christian calendar. It is a time when we are encouraged to pause and take stock of our lives. We also prepare our hearts and minds for the journey towards Easter. The service will include the traditional Imposition of Ashes. This is a powerful and prayerful act that reminds us of our dependence on God’s grace and mercy. Moreover, it reminds us of our calling to live lives shaped by faith, hope, and love.

Prayer, and worship, with readings and music appropriate to the solemn and reflective nature of the day.
